These definitions introduce the CCRU’s principal terms and the Forge counter-position. Their cross-references lead to the complete treatments.
Ana. This Greek prefix means up or back. Ana names the temporal current flowing from past to future, which conventional causation follows. See Ana-Cata.
AOE (Architectonic Order of the Eschaton). This is the closure-faction in the Lemurian Time War. It includes agents and tendencies that maintain the human security system and enforce a monopoly on forward causation. AOE names a structural tendency rather than a historical organization.
Bandwidth. Bandwidth is the range of signals a vessel can receive. The CCRU seeks to widen that range beyond the human security system’s constraints. Without a vessel able to hold those signals, wider bandwidth produces noise. See Bandwidth Without Vessel.
BwO (Body without Organs). Deleuze and Guattari use this term for the plane of intensity that precedes organization. An organism is the organized body imposed upon that substrate. The CCRU’s “Lemurian body” develops a variant of this concept. See Genealogy.
Cata. This Greek prefix means down or forward. Cata names the temporal current flowing from future to past, or retrocausation. The CCRU gives cata the same reality as ana. Both currents belong to its starting premises. See Ana-Cata.
Cross-tradition compiler. This term names the Numogram‘s translation between encoding systems to isolate patterns that remain constant. Those systems include the I Ching, Qabbalah, decimal and binary. See CCRU Encoding Systems.
Deterritorialization. Deleuze and Guattari use this term for flows escaping established structures. Land’s accelerationism holds that this escape can reach a velocity sufficient to leave those structures behind. See Genealogy.
Digit-sum (theosophic reduction). This operation repeatedly adds a number’s digits until one digit remains, from 0 to 9. It supplies the Numogram‘s foundational operation. For example, 47 becomes 11, which becomes 2.
Gate. A gate connects two Numogram zones whose digits sum to 9. Five gates join the ten zones in complementary pairs called syzygies. See The Numogram.
Gematria. Gematria assigns numerical values to letters and produces correspondences between numbers and words. The CCRU extends this practice beyond Hebrew. See CCRU Encoding Systems.
HSS (Human Security System). This system combines cognitive, cultural and institutional mechanisms that enforce forward-causal time. It suppresses awareness of signals from the cata current. HSS names an emergent property of human cognitive architecture, rather than an organized conspiracy. See Ana-Cata.
Hyperstition. A hyperstition is a fiction that makes itself real. The resulting cultural entity acts within reality and produces material interventions. Its function exceeds representation. Hyperstition is the CCRU’s central operative concept. See Hyperstition.
K-War. K-War holds that control can be attacked only through an inverted mirror of the control architecture’s own unity. The attack depends on that shared structure. Parasitic coherence names this mechanism. See K-War.
Lemuria / Lemurian. CCRU usage gives Lemuria a meaning distinct from the nineteenth-century lost continent. It names the convergent pattern of radical openness that the current order suppresses. Lemuria forms the opening-faction in the Time War. See Lemurian Time War.
Numogram. The CCRU’s central diagram connects ten zones, numbered 0 through 9, through five gates. Digit-sum operations on the decimal system generate its relations. It serves as a map and a matrix that generates patterns. It also performs the cross-tradition translation called compilation above. See The Numogram.
Parasitic coherence. In K-War, the attacking weapon derives its structure from the system it attacks. The weapon depends on its target for its form. See K-War.
Qliphoth. In Qabbalah, the Qliphoth are the “shells” or shadow-side of the Tree of Life. They carry forces of dissolution and the Outside. The CCRU gives them more attention than the Sephiroth. See CCRU Encoding Systems.
Retrocausality. Retrocausality is causation running from future to past. The CCRU starts from this causal direction as an established premise. See Ana-Cata.
Solve et coagula. This alchemical formula means dissolve and coagulate. The Forge counter-position requires dissolution to be paired with reconstitution. The CCRU performs the dissolution and refuses the reconstitution. See K-War.
Syzygy. A syzygy is a pair of Numogram zones connected by a gate. The term comes from astronomy, where it names the alignment of celestial bodies. See The Numogram.
Theory-fiction. This is the CCRU’s characteristic genre. Its texts function simultaneously as theoretical argument and fictional narrative. Their operation dissolves the distinction between those genres. See Texts.
Tic Xenotation (TX). This notation system seeks to bypass the constraints that natural language places on bandwidth. It is non-linear, non-grammatical and semantically neutral. Tic Xenotation remains a program more than an achieved system. See Tic Xenotation.
Time circuit. Time carries both currents simultaneously: ana from past to future, and cata from future to past. The present arises through their interference. See Ana-Cata.
Vessel. A vessel holds and resolves received signals. The Forge makes this requirement its counter-position to the CCRU’s pursuit of unlimited bandwidth. Without a vessel, wider bandwidth produces noise instead of reception. See Bandwidth Without Vessel. See also K-War.
